Eilen oli tosi kiireinen päivä, niin kun luultavasti koko tämä viikko tulee olemaan ennen Horse Show:ta. Aloitin aamun käymässä haastattelussa Yle Puheessa ja iltapäivällä Hevosurheilu kävi meillä kotona tekemässä haastattelua. Ylekin kävi vielä meillä iltapäivällä ennen Hevosurheilun haastattelua. Eli kiirrettä pitää! On niin kivaa kun on kiinnostusta lajiamme kohtaan! Toivoisin että olisi aina näin paljon kiinnostusta ratsastuksesta, tekisi niin hyvää urheilulle!
Työskentelin hevosiani eilen puomeilla ja Vaillant sai hypätä myös pientä linjaa. Rakensin linjan missä oli puomi, 9metriä, pysty, kolme metriä ja puomi. Pystyn päällä tein "V":n niin että Vaillant hyppäisi keskellä ja keskittyisi hyyppyyn enemmän. Tuntui oikein hyvältä! Lähdetään kyllä hyvin mielin Horse Showhun. Me lähdetään jo keskiviikkona jäähallille hevosten kanssa, vetcheck on nimittäin jo silloin mutta ehdin hyvin ratsastaa hevoset kotona ennen sitä. Odotan niin innolla että päästään tositoimiin ja kisaamaan!
Illalla kävin eilen valmentamassa yhtä valmenettaviani. Hän tekee debyyttinsä Helsinki UB Horse Showssa tänä vuonna, jännää! Harjoiteltiin vaan kavaletteja ja puomeja jotta hevonen olisi hyvin avuilla ja kontrollissa. Cavaletit ja puomit auttavat myös saamaan hevosen laukkaaman hyvässä rytmissä ja laadukkaassa laukassa.
Tänään Onni pääsee hyppäämään ja Vaillant hyppää ihan vähän. Nyt työskentelen hevoset vaan niin että tuntuvat hyviltä ja rentoutuneilta. Iso työhän on jo tehty eli nyt tehdään vaan hienosäätö ja pidetään hevoset hyvässä vireessä ja tehdään parhaamme viikonloppuna kun on tosi kyseessä!

Yesterday was a very busy day and so will the rest of the week be before Horse Show. Yesterday started out in the morning with an interview at Yle Puhe and in the afternoon we also had Hevosurheilu visiting us and making an interview. Yle also visited us in the afternoon before Hevosurheilus interview. Busy! It is nice that there is interest in the sport! Wish it would be this busy all year round, would be great for the sport.
Yesterday I worked the horses at home with help of poles and Vaillant also got to jump a small jumping exercise. We had a pole 9 meters to a vertical and then a pole three meters behind the vertical. On the jump I had two poles that made a "V" so that he would jump more in the middle and focus on the jump. He felt good, feels like we are all set for Helsinki UB Horse Show. We are going to go there already on Wednesday for the vet check. I'm so looking forward to the weekend!
I also had time to go and train one of my pupils who is doing her debut at Helsinki UB Horse Show, pretty exiting! With her we did only cavalettis and poles to work on the control. The poles are also good for finding a good rhythm and getting a nice galopp.
Today Onni gets to jump and Vaillant as well a little bit. Now we only work on that the horses are feeling confident and in shape. All the main work is done so now we just need to keep them fresh! Tomorrow I will let you know what we are packing with us to the Horse Show!
