Yle kävi tänään meillä kotona haastattelemassa minua ja katsomassa kun ratsastin Vaillantilla. Oli hauskaa vaikka on kyllä totuttelemista siihen että kamera koko ajan tujottaa minua, yleensähän itse otan kuvia ja olen kameran toisella puolella.
Vaillant oli hyvä esimerkki kun kuvaustiimi halusivat että seistään Vaillantin kanssa 160cm oxerin vieressä... eihän se suostunut siihen. Sillä on kyllä niitä sen omia ideoita välillä :)
Kerron sitten kun tiedän kun haastis näkyy Yle:llä!
Pidin tänään myös valmennuksia Nissalassa ja kävin samalla Onnin ja yhden asiakas hevosen kanssa hyppäämässä Nissalassa.
Kaikki hevoset hyppäsivät oikein hyvin. Tehtiin vähän samanlainen treeni kun viime viikolla eli eka puomi ja kavaletti pomppu treeni ja hyppättiin lopuksi rataa. Radassa oli kaksi sarjaa, yksi normaalin askeleen oxeri-oxeri sarja sekä yksi oxeri-pysty- oxeri sarja.
Päivän puomi harjoitukset suunnittelin kuumaa hevosta varten. Kyseinen hevonen hosuu turhan paljon ja hyppää helposti vähän laakeasti sarjoissa kun on niin kiire. tehtävän avulla hevonen joutuu keskittymään edellä oleviin askeliin ja hyppyyn että se olisi pyöreä. Laitan myös reippaasti maapuomia semmoiselle hevoselle ja mielellään kavaletti sarjojen väliin jotta hevonen ottaisi kunnon askeleet sarjojen sisällä eikä hyppäisi kiirreellä. Laukka pysyy näin tasaisena ja hevonen keskittyy enemmään siihen että se liikkuu eteenpäin eikä niin kuin useimmat kuumat hevoset, ylös päin. Piirrustuksista näette tehtävät!

The combination training for a hot horse.
We started with this one before we started with the combination.
Today Yle came home to us to make an interview before Horse Show next week. They followed me and filmed when I was training and taking care of Vaillant. It was a lot of fun even though I need to get used to standing infront of the camera! It feels like it is staring at me all the time... I'm more used to standing behind the camera and take the photos myself! Vaillant was being a bit fussy at the shoot.. they wanted us to stand next to an oxer that was 160cm high, but Vaillant thought it was scary... he has his own mind :) I'll let you know when the interview is airing!
I also held trainings at Nissala today, and had Onni and a client horse with there to train as well. All horses jumped really well! The training that we did was a little bit like last weekend, we warmed up on a pole- kavaletti- fence training and then worked the horses over two combinations before we in the end jumped a course.
The combinations we had was one oxer, one stride, oxer- combination, and one oxer - vertical - oxer, with one stride and two stride in-between.
Todays training I planned for a horse that is a bit on the go. When the horse is a bit hot it tends to run a little bit and the jump gets too flat in the combination when they are a bit running. So, so that the horse would focus on being even and jumping a nice and round jump we put in poles and cavalettis in-between the jumps, which makes the horse more stretched in the galopp and makes the horse reach the next fence better and in the end making a better jump. To enhance this even more I pull out the ground line a bit more than normal. Have a look from the drawing on how we built the exercise!
