Not my new boyfriend!!

Lauantaina minulla oli synttärit mutta ei keritty niitä hirveästi juhlimaan sillä heräsin 5.15 ja lähdimme kisoihin ja olimme vasta kahdeksanaikaan kotona. Fillen kanssa lähdettiin sitten kaupungille lasilliselle ja tavattiin pari ystävää mutta sitten alkoi silmät painaa sen verran että jouduimme lähtemään kotiin nukkumaan :). 

Eilen oli ihan super päivä ypäjällä. Onni hyppäsi 140 cm luokan ja voitti! Tuntui tosi hyvältä, en voi uskoa että se taas meni nollan! Se on ihan kone! Sitten Rex hyppäsi 130 cm ja voitti myös! Kaiken lisäksi Fille oli kokannut meille kotona ja saatiin ihanaa ruokaa. Ei olisi voinut olla parempi päivä.  Tästä on hyvä lähteä just näillä hevosilla Horse fairin kisohin messukeskukseen ensi viikonloppuna. Tulkaa katsomaan jos kerkeette. Luulen että siitä tulee hieno kisa.

Im so happy I got this as a gift  <3

We watched the Gothenburg world cup.

Fille was so happy it started coming money out of his nose...

On Saturday it was my birthday but we didn't have time to celebrate it that much because my day started at 5.15 in the morning and we came home from the show around 20.00. But Fille and I went out for a drink in the city with some friends but after a while we where so tired that we had to go to bed :)

Yesterday was a super day at Ypäjä. Onni jumped the 140cm and won! He felt really good, I can't believe he was clear again! What a machine! Then Rex jumped the 130cm and also won! On top of all Fille had cooked us dinner when we came home and it was delicious! Could not have been a better day. It feels great to show these horses at the Horse fair show at messukeskus this weekend, come and watch. I think its going to be a nice show!

Above there are some links to articles written about us, but they are in Finnish so... The 140 class I rode is a serie of classes where you in the end can win a Avant tractor so Fille is quite excited. But in one of the articles it said that "Ville" is exited so just wanted to clear it up that, no I don't have a new boyfriend it was just a little spelling mistake ;)

There are unfortunately no videos because we forgot the camera at home...

I don't know what to say here ...

Prepare for takeoff!

Huomenna kun lähdetään kisoihin on paljon asioita mitä pitää muistaa ja ottaa mukaan. Ajattelin kertoa teille miten minä sen teen ja miten suunnitelen kaiken.

Aloitan aina tarkistamalla että kaikki varmasti on puhdasta, jotta ehtii laittaa pesukoneeseen vielä jos jotain on jäännyt pesemättä ja aloitan sitten niistä kamoista mitä en enää sinä päivänä tarvii. Yritän saada kaikki hepat ratsastettu ennen kun aloitan pakkaamisen niin riittää yksi pakkauskerta :)

Eli perus ratsastus kamat laitan jo sivuun kun ovat putsattu,
eli joka hevosen omat kisasuitset ja kuolaimet sekä satulat.( Niin kun ehkä muistatte niin tämä on joskus unohtunut :)

Tarkistan että on kuivatusloimeja kaikille sekä ratsastastusloimeja niin että kaikille hevosille on omat.   Pakkaan aina loimet eka kaappiin niin on helpompi laittaa satulat ja suitset sitten. Sen jälkeen laitan hoitokamat; harjoja, kaviokoukku, shamppoota, nahkasaippua jne. mukaan. Pienetkin jutut voi olla ärsyttävää olla ilman jos on unohtanut niitä kotiin. Kun pakkaan kaapin niin laitan hevosten passit niin että varmasti tulevat mukaan, joko kaappiin tai heti kuormaautoon. Kun kamat on pakattu niin pakkaan ruuat sekä kottikärryt ja talikon kuormaautoon. Sen jälkeen ei tarvitse kun muistaa omat kisavaatteet, kypärää ja tietysti videokamera!

Eli tässä minun listani:

-Satula, suitset, rintaremmit, suojat

-Hoitotarvikkeet (harjoja, kaviokoukku, shamppoota, satulasaippua, pyyhe jne.)

-Loimet

-Hevosten ruuat
-Kottikärryt ja talikko
-Omat kisakamppeet

-Hevosten passit

-Videokamera

The stable is clean when the whole packing is done!

Cupboard packed and ready!

Tomorrow we are off to Ypäjä to ride the first national show for the year. There is a lot you need to remember to bring with you when you go to a show so I always follow a list I have made and try to do the packing in the same routine every time not to forget anything.

I always start by checking that everything I want to take with me is clean. If it for some reason isn’t I then still have time to put it in the washing machine. Then I start packing all the stuff that I don’t need anymore before we need to leave. I also try to ride all the horses tha need to be ridden before w ego so that I only need to pack once J

I start with the basic riding gear and see that they are clean and put them aside, that means the saddle, bridle, bits and boots. (Like you might remember, ot is totally possible to forget the saddle )

I start by filling up the cupboard with the blankets we need, drying rugs for all horses and competitionrugs for riding. I put them first because the it is easier to fill up with the sadels and the bridles. After that I put all the grooming stuff, brushes, hoofpicker, shampoo, leathersoap etc.

It can be very annoying to leave some of the small stuff at home as well so I try not to forget anything…

When I’m packing the cupboard i also check that I have the horses passports and put them either in the cupboard or take them staright away to the truck.

When all the riding gear is packed, I measure and pack the horses feed and then take a wheelbarrow and fork and pack it all in to the truck. I always take a bit of extra hay with me just in case. When everything is packed for the horses I check my own gear and see that they also are in the truck and then I only need to rememeber the videocamera anymore!

I have a small list that I follow. Here it is:

-Saddles, bridles, boots

-Grooming stuff (brushes, hoofpicker, shampoo, towel etc.)

-Blankets

-Horse feed

-Wheelbarrow + fork

-Helmet, boots, spurs, gloves

-Passports

-Videocamera

The little big moments...

Kuin pidin valmennuksia tänään niin saatiin taas SE fiilis mikä on niin tärkeä ja mikä on syy siihen että tätä teen. Kun olin nuorempi en olisi ikinä uskonut että viihtyisin myös valmentajana näin hyvin. 

Elikkä yritän selventää teille, havaitset ongelman - suunnittelet miten sitä parantaisi - teet pirusti töitä sen eteen - treenaat vähän enemmän ja sitten huomaat että ongelma on ainakin toistaiseksi poissa ja sinä ja hevonen oppi taas jotain uutta. Ei kyllä kuulosta läheskään niin kivalta kun miltä se oikeasti tuntuu :). Ehkä joku toinen ratsastaja pystyy selittämään sen paremmin..? Jos olet ratsastaja varmaan tajuat onko se sinunkin mielestä se hauskin juttu? Kuitenkin, pointti oli se että vaikka se tapahtuu oppilaalleni niin ilotsen sitä yhtä paljon ja se on syy miksi tykkään valmentaa! Kertokaa teidän kokemuksista ja mitkä ovat teidän viimesimmät SE fiilis hetkiä. Sitä on todella inspiroivaa kuulla myös muilta.

One of todays training.

Today when I was training we got THE feeling. That feeling is why I do this! When I was yonger I never would have expected that I would enjoy training other people this much. I´m going to explain you what I mean: detect a problem - plan how to improve - do a lot of work - do a little bit more and then you realice that the problem is gone for at least a moment and both horse and rider has learned something new. It does not sound as interesting as it really is. Maby some other rider can explane it better..? If you are a rider, do you know what I mean, and is that the moste fun thing for you as well? Anyway, the point is that even if it happends to my pupile it is still as fun and thats my drive for traning others! Tell me about your experiences of  your recent THE feelings. It is inspiring to hear from others.

Tomorrow is the last training day at home before we leave to the show in Ypäjä. Bye bye!

tänään olen tehnyt pienen treeni vinkki videon. Tarkempi kuva piirrustuksesta löytyy alla! Tämä on harjoitus mitä kaikki voivat harjoitella ja on kaikkien hyvä harjoitella. Kun harjoitukseen vielä lisää pari puomitehtävää, niin kun olen tehnyt niin siitä saa tosi monipuolisen treenin. Yksi asia mitä ei tossa piirrustuksessa näy on että käytän aina maapuomeja myös innareissa. Pitää muistaa että innarit on myös aika rankkoja hevosen lihaksille joten kannattaa antaa kävellä aina välissä.  Eli tämmöinen treeni tänään!

Hello,

today I've made a training tips video.

Today I had the in and outs on the middle so that I could choose on which hand to ride, right or left after the jumps. I also often have poles out of the corner after the in and out, so that the focus doesn't stop after the jumps but continues. This is also very good for the rhythm and the canter. 

This is a practise anyone can do and it suits all horses! You can also do it pretty often because it is not so heavy on the legs. In and outs is pretty heavy on the muscles and develops lactic acid in the muscles which also developed both strength and condition. But remember to give the horses a small break in between once in a while because it is pretty tiring!

Nyt illalla on date night Fillen kanssa. Mennään katsomaan leffaa "the theory of everything". Kun on pieni lapsi pitää välillä muistaa ottaa sitä omaa aikaa. Me olemme tosi kiireisiä ihmisiä joten se unohtuu välillä :). Ei sen enempää tänään! Hyvää illanjatkoa!

It's date night tonight. We will go and se the movie "the theory of everything". When you have a small child you have to remember to make time for just the two of you. We are quite busy people so we tend to forget it sometimes :). That's all for today! Have a good evening!

That´s so Boring!

Nyt ilmoitin vihdoin itseni Ypäjän kisoihin 27.2-1.3. Se on mielestäni tosi tylsää hommaa se ilmoittautuminen... Mutta tehty. Mukaan otetaan Rex, Swasse, Rolle, Walk-on ja jopa Corella. Corellalla kävin tänään hyppäämässä Marinan maneesissa ja se tuntui tosi hyvältä, villiltä mutta hyvältä! Swasse on ollut viimepäivinä ihan mun lemppari. Se on jotenkin edistynyt ihan hurjasti viimeaikoina. Sillä harjoittelen juuri väistöjä ja laukan lyhentämistä ja se tuntuu yhtäkkiä paljon kypsemmältä. Huomenna aamulla lähden Saksaan. Hyvää viikonloppua teille kaikille!

Corella my big love <3

I finally got my self to enter the show in Ypäjä 27.2-1.3. It is really boring to do but its done now!  With us comes Rolle, Swasse, Onni and Corella even gets to go. Today I drove to a friends place to jump with Corella, she felt really good, wild but good! Swasse has been my absolute favorite at the moment. He has developed so much now. I practice a lot of sidesteps and to get the gallop a bit shorter. Suddenly he feels so much more mature! Tomorrow morning I leave to Germany. Have a good weekend everyone!

 Moikka! Toivottavasti teillä on ollut hyvä päivä! Itse olen valmentanut, ratsastanut, syönyt lounasta Brunnsdaalissa Marinan kanssa ja sitten vähän ratsastanut lisää. Hepat tuntuivat hyvältä ja inspiraatio oli TOP! On niin kiva saada ratsastaa nuoria hevosia , pääsee seuraamaan kuinka ne kehittyvät. 

Lauantaina olen lähdössä Saksaan katsomaan hevosia. Jos sieltä vaikka löytyisi jotain kiinnostavaa...

Minua oikein nauratti että eilen kirjoitin kuinka minulla oli ispiraatiota vaikka muille jakaisi ja tänään en millään olis jaksanut kirjoittaa, ei kun keksimään mistä sitä kirjoitus inspiraatiota saa! Tai ehkä olisin jaksanut mutta välillä en keksi mistä kirjoittaa, joten laittakaa ideoitanne tänne! Ne ovat aina tosi hyviä ja niistä saatan saada uusia ideoita myös itse. Help a friend out here :)!

Hello! Hope you guys had a good day! I have been training, riding, eating lunch at Brunnsdal with Marina and after that a bit more riding. The horses feel good and motivation is TOP! It is so nice to get to ride young horses and get to se them develop.

On Sathurday I´m leaving to Germany to try some horses. Maby to find someting interesting...

I had to laugh today when I thought about me yesterday writing how inspired I was and today I can´t get  me to write anything. I guess it`s just to find the way of getting inspiration there as well! Or maybe it´s just because I sometimes just can`t figure out what to write about. So I reach out to you guys for help. Please give me you´r ideas about what to write. Help a friend out here :)!
