Last ride on my own horses.

Viikonloppuna olimme kilpailuissa  Ratsastuskeskus Ainossa ja hevoset hyppäsivät hyvin vaikka huomasi kyllä että olivat ensimmäiset ulko kilpailut heille. Tuntuu aina vähän vaikeimmalta saada kunnon rytmi ulkona jne.

Tänään oli viimeine päivä ratsatusta ennen matkaa. Olen lähdössä Ruotsiin katsomaan hevosia ja mukaan tulee sekä minun pikku Ronjani että äitini.

Käymme samalla moikkaamassa meidän perhetuttuja jotka ovat jo monta vuotta pitäneet meidän tammoista sekä nuorista hevosista hyvää huolta.

  Kun kokeilen hevosia yritän tietysti löytää sellaisia hevosia joiden arvoa luulen pystyväni nostamaan treenamalla ja kilpailemalla. Hyvä hevonen on rohkea, mielyttävä ratsastaa, varovainen ja terve. Sitten luokittelen ehkä hieman hevosia joko, amatööri ratsastajille sopivaksi tai enemmän kokeneimalle ratsastajalle sopivammaksi. Todella herkät tai todella varovaiset hevoset ovat yleensä sopivampia ammattilaiselle. Toivottavasti löydän jotain sopivaa!

Last week we where at the show and the horses jumped good but it was clear to see that it was our first outdoor show. Its always a bit hard to find a good rhythm and so on.

Today was the last day riding my horses before the trip. Im going to Sweden to search for new horses. Mum and Ronja will come with me as travel company.

At the same time we will pay a visit to our friends that live near by. They have already many years taken good care of our mares and young horses.

Im of course trying to find horses whom value I can increase. A good horse is brave, pleasant to ride, careful and healthy. Then I classify the horses as amateur suitable ore suitable for a rider with a bit more experience. The super sensitive or super careful horses are usually better for a professional to ride. Lets hope I find something nice!

Now I will start packing my suitcase!
