Swassen kanssa olen aika paljon harjoitellut juuri tällaista sillä se vähän juoksee esteelle ja on turhan kiireinen esteellä jolloin hyppykaaren korkein kohta on hieman myöhässä.
Perus ratsastuksen pitää olla kunnossa. Harjoittelen paljon siirtymyksiä. Laukkaan eteen ja kokeilen saanko hevosen takaisin vähän lyhyempään laukkaan muutaman askeleen ajaksi. Jotta tämä onnistuisi täytyy toistaa, toistaa ja toistaa. Kun hevonen edistyy ja tekee edes vähän sinne päin pitää muistaa hellittää kädellä. Se tarkoittaa hevoselle palkitsemista ja vain silloin se voi pikku hiljaa ymmärtää mitä siltä vaaditaan.
Tätä voi myös harjoitella esteillä tietty. Katso kuvaa ylempänä. Puomi 2,7 m - este 3m- pienempi este tai kavaletti. Puomit ja kavaletit auttavat pitämään hevosen kuulolla ja muistuttaa sitä odottamaan ratsastajaa paremmin.
Kokeile sinäkin ja muista toistaa, se on tärkeintä. Ei saa luovuttaa heti jos ei toimi!

One of my readers asked me to give advice on how to train a horse wich is running a bit to much to the fence.
First of all you need to train your horse on the flat so that it will be ready for the task when your jumping. I do a lot of transitions. I let the horse canter with a big stride and then I back him up again just for a couple of strides. When the horse is doing well and responding, you have to remember to be soft in your hand again. That's the best reward you can give him. You need to repeat, repeat and repeat.
I have been training this a bit with Swasse. He tends to run a bit and that makes the jumps highest point a bit late. To improve that I do the practice you can see on the picture above. Pole 2,7 m - fence 3m - small fence/ cavaletti. The pole, fence and cavaletti usually makes the horse wait for the rider a bit better.
You try it at home as well, and remember: don't give up when it's not working straight away!
