V ja Onni on kotona! Laiva reissu kestää 28h Travemundestä Helsinkiin.
Normandiasta lähdettyä hevoset tekivät kolme pysähdystä talleilla joissa he yöpyivät. Ja myöhään torstai yönä hevoset olivat laivassa matkalla Helsinkiin.
Hevosautossa he sitten seisovat kunnes laiva saapuu satamaan ja voi lähteä ajamaan kotiin päin.
Se on rankka reissu hevosille. Mutta kun antaa niille tarpeeksi tilaa että he pystyvät syömään lattialta niin olevat tulleet aina yhtä pirteänä takaisin. Laivassa on iso riski että hevoset saavat matkakuumeen joka johtuu siitä että he ovat köytettynä seinään ja eivät pääse luonnollisella tavalla syömään maasta. Siksi menemme sinne aina joka neljäs tunti ja silloin he saavat syödä ainakin 40 min. Laiva matkoilla he syövät vain heinää ja lesettä.
Vaillant ja Onni tulivat Lauantaina kotiin. Molemmat voivat hyvin ja olivat pirteän näköiset.
Vaillant ei ole vain minun suosikki, se on nimittäin Sabben (mun toisiksi vanhin sisko) myös. Joten eilen päätimme mennä niiden kanssa maastoon jotta he saisivat nähdä vähän luontoa taas. Sabbe ratsasti luonnollisesti Vaillantilla ja minä Onnilla ;). Olivat ihan täpinöissä!

V and Onni is back! The boat trip from Travemunde to Helsinki takes 28h.
After the horses left Normandie they have done three stops at stables where they stayed over night. Late Thursday night the horses where in the boat on their way to Helsinki.
They stay in the truck for the whole time, that's ruff! But we give them space enough so that they can eat from the ground every four hours we get to go down to the cargo deck. Without them eating from the ground as they naturally do there is a bigger risk for them to get a fever. So that's why we take extra good care of it and let them eat at least for 40 min. They eat mostly just hay and bran (In water) on the boat trip.
Vaillant is not only my favorite horse, it is my sister Sabbes as well. So yesterday we desided to take them for a hack in the woods so they could enjoy the nature a bit. Sabbe took Vaillant of course and I took Onni. They where thrilled!
