My paradise on earth !

Vietetään pääsiäistä meidän saarella joka on Hangon ulkopuolella, täällä ollaan koko perhe, siis minun siskokset miehineen ja lapsineen paitsi nuorin sisko. Täällä on ollut ihana ilma, melkein 20 astetta.

Ollaan kalastettu ja laitettu hyvää ruokaa. Rakastan tätä paikkaa, minusta täällä on niin kaunista. Me rakennetaan parhaillaan pientä mökkiä minulle ja Fillelle sen pitäisi olla valmis juhannuksena. Näytän siitä kuvia kun se on valmis :) 

Maanataina sit ratsastusta taas, en malta odottaa!Vaikka lihaksiin sattuu edelleen viime kerrasta. Silloin kirjoitan taas jostain hevos aiheesta, voitte mielellään esittää toivomuksia jos haluatte. Hyvää viikonloppua teille

My Paradise on earth!

We are spending the eastern weekend on our island outside Hanko (the most southern city of Finlnad), the whole family except Janina and her boyfriend. It has been such a nice wether, almost 20 C and we have enjoyed good food and company and even been fishing. I love this place, I think it´s so beautiful! We are building a small house for Fille, me and Ronja, and hopefully it will be ready by midsummer. I will show you some pictures when it`s ready.

Hyvää pääsiäistä!

Eilen käytiin Vermossa laser kurssilla, oli tosi mielenkiintoista. Käytiin koko porukalla eli Dani, Suvi ja minä, tuli paljon uutta tietoa ja kurssi oli hyvin suunniteltu ja tuntui että opittiin valtavasti kaikki. Meidän kotisysteemin takia oli hyvä että kaikki päästiin paikalle niin sit voidaan ottaa apua toisistamme jos ei muistetakaan jotain.

Tänään hypättiin Corellalla ja Vaillantilla, olipas innoikkaita poneja, niin kun ratsastajakin, oli niin hauskaa. Ensi viikolla ajattelin lähteä jonnekin muualle kaikkien kanssa ja hypätä myös Rexillä. Valitettavasti en saannu otettua kuvia:(

Maanantaina meille saapuu uusi/vanha perhejäsen, Suvi nimittäin hakee meidän yhden 5-vuotiaan Ruotsista. Meillä on kaikki meidän tammat ja varsat Ruotsissa. Siitostammoja meillä on kolme. Cohiba, Sabben vanha kisahevonen sekä minun vanhat kisakaverit Online ja Florenz. Ruotsista siis tulee Florenzin ensimmäinen varsa Pokerface joka on orista Hirtentanz. Pokerface tulee Suomeen myyntiin. Hyvä ystäväni Eva Ollula on sitä sisäänratsastanut ja koulttanut tähän asti. Kerron teille joskus toiste meidän tammoista ja varsoista!

Tänään lähdetään meidän perheen kanssa landelle viettämään pääsiäistä

Happy easter!

Yesterday we went to Vermo for the laser treatment course, it was so good! We went with the whole team, Dani, Suvi and me, we got a lot of new information and it was very well arranged and it feels like we learnt a lot. I'm also very happy we all could go, then we can do it together and if we can't remember something or not get it to work we can always ask each other.

Today I jumped Corella and Vaillant, very eager ponies just like their  rider. Next week I will go somewhere away from home to train and jump, I will take Rex with me as well, can't wait!

Sadly I didn't get any good photos from the jumping, but next week you will get to see some jumps.

On Monday we will get a new/old horse, it is Pokerface who is coming over from Sweden. Pokerface is the first offspring from my former ride Florenz and from the stallion Hirtentanz. He is now five years old and has been broken in and trained until now by my friend Eva Ollula. He is coming home to be sold. In Sweden we have three breeding mares, all are our old competition horses. We have in Sweden for the moment Cohiba, Sabbes old horse and my old showjumpers Online and Florenz, but I will tell you more about them some other day.

Now I'm off to the summer place with my little family to enjoy the easter.

The demo horse, a four year old trotter. So happy we went to the course, was very well executed and interesting.

The of course I had to arrange a little bit easter feeling in our home. Just love the colours, tells me spring is officially here.

In Finland we call this easter grass, we grow it just for easter. Don't know if it is a global thing or not, butPretty happy with my result :)

Olen takaisin hevosenselässä aikuisten oikeasti! Aivan mahtava fiilis, olen jopa ratsastanut Vaillantilla tänään, huikeeta. Päätin kuunnella lääkäriä ja odottaa  kaksi viikkoa ja eilen oli sitten tasan kaksi viikkoa synnytyksestä ja tänään ratsastin. Oli niin hauskaa ja ihanaa päästä tekemään jotain siellä selässä, etenkin sen jälkeen kun oon ollut kipeenä enkä ole saannut tehdä mitään.

 Huomenna meillä on Suvin kanssa laserhoitokurssi Vermossa ja torstaina ajattelin kokeilla hyppäämistä ensimmäistä kertaa... Olen niin innoissani että hyvä että saan unta! Ronjalle kuuluu hyvää, nukkuu ja syö hyvin. Todettiin just Fillen kanssa että on ollut helpompaa tähän asti kun mitä kuviteltiin, mutta saa nähdä, asiat ehtii muuttua :) 

Kävin tänään valmentamassa Nissalassa, hyvin meni! Ihanaa kun pystyy hyppäämään ulkona, hevoset käyttäytyi yllättävän fiksusti vaikka oli ensimmäiset hypyt ulkona.

I'm back int the saddle! So happy! And now allowed to ride and not only walk... Decided to listen to the doctors and wait two weeks, and yesterday it was exactly two weeks since Ronja was born. So today has been a very good day, even rode Vaillant. Have been waiting for that day long enough, and it was so much fun. So nice to be able to do something, was so bored after the flu, hate being ill.

 The horses felt really good and i'm so excited to start riding. Tomorrow we are going with Suvi to Vermo for this Laser treatment course, but on Thursday I'm planning to take the first jumps. I'm so excited I can hardly sleep! 

Ronja is doing really well, we actually just talked about it with Fille that so far everything has actually been easier than we had thought, but that can change fast :)

I had some trainings at Nissala today as well, went really well. The horses were pretty energetic but for being the first time jumping outside they behaved really well.

Saturday night fever...literally.

Olen ollut kipeänä koko viikonlopun, todella tylsää. Olen edelleen kuumeessa joten ollaan vaan hengailtu Ronjan kanssa kotona, katsottu sarjoja ja juotu lämmintä mehua. Onneksi on hyvää seuraa eikä tarvitse olla yksin. Pikkusiskoni Janina kävi kans hänen poikaystävänsä ja parin kaverin kanssa moikkaamassa meitä. Eli ei hevostelua eikä muuta hauskaa tänään. Tylsää.

Saturday night fever... literally.

I have been ill the hole weekend, so boring! So only been at home taking it easy. I'm still having a fever so we have only hanged out at home with Ronja, only watching some tv-shows and drinking tea. Thank god for the cutest company Ronja, so it doesn't get too bored. Janina my younger sister and her boyfriend and som friends came for a visit, so we haven't been only the two of us. But no horses and no fun today. Blaaah.

Not only horses and babies in this family

Ollaan nyt Westankärrissä missä Fille jatkaa perheensä sukutilaa, tilalla on tällä hetkellä lampaita n. 550 ja pitäis syntyä kohta n. 100 lisää! Ne on ihan hullun söpöjä, etenkin ne jota on jouduttu syöttämään pullosta, haluavat koko ajan seurustella. Koiriakin löytyy täällä niin kun meilläkin kotona. Westankärristä löytyy pieni kauppa jossa myydään omaa lihaa ja lähituotettuja tuotteita. Tilalta löytyy myös vanha talli joka näkyy kuvissa. Toivottavasti Ronja tulee pitämään eläimistä koska niitä kyllä riittää :) 

Kuvassa missä Fille seisoo, niin siihen suunnitellaan meidän vihkiminen. Ei olla muuten suunniteltu häitä kauheasti mutta paikka on tosi kaunis kesäisin.

Meillä on äidin synttärijuhlat tänään illalla joten tullaan takaisin kaupunkiin, meitä on 13 henkilöä kun koko perhe pääsee paikalle joten aikamoista säätöä ja riehumista aina:)

Not only horses and babies in this family

We have been at Westankärr now since yesterday, Westankärr is Filles family yard and he is continuing and slowly taking over the business here. For the moment there is ca 550 sheep on the yard and soon about a 100 more lambs. They are so cute! There is of course dogs here as well:) Hope that Ronja will like animals because there is going to be plenty of animals in here life...

There is also a small shop at the yard where they sell their own meat and some locally produced products, it's really nice! There is a small stable on the yard where my horses will probably enjoy spending some time as well in the summer.

We are also planning to have the wedding here at the yard. It´s so beautiful. We haven't really planned much but probably it will be held here at Westankärr. 

We are going to celebrate Mom's birthday today, the hole family, we are like 13 people when we all meet up so it is gonna be one big mess :) Have a great weekend!
